Those sleek pictures in the ads look great, but the reality is there are tradeoffs: how flexible is the wiring, is it feasible on dry wall, or does it need plywood backing, etc. I've come across a couple of good options: the Muro wall unit from Design Within Reach (pictured, left), and the much more expensive one from MDF Italia. I'm looking for something stylish and functional.
